Give Day Tampa Bay
Give Day Tampa Bay was an amazing one-day online giving challenge that was led by the Community Foundation of Tampa Bay and the Florida Next Foundation to raise support for local nonprofits and grow philanthropy in our region. It was a community-wide event showing off Tampa Bay’s spirit of giving, raising awareness about local nonprofits, and celebrating the collective effort of the region.
It started at 12:01 a.m. and went trhough 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, where many donors logged on to http://www.givedaytampabay.org/ and made donations over $1 Million dollars to participating nonprofits that are located in Pasco, Pinellas, Hernando or Hillsborough County. Several nonprofits were awarded additional financial prizes and bonuses!
