UCM Family Fun Day
On Saturday August 9, 2014 University Community Ministries (UCM) and the Operation Jumpstart (OJ) team held their 2nd annual “Family Fun Day” at the UCM House of Hope located at 8512 N Mitchell Ave. The prayers, contributions, time and service of the volunteers created a tremendous and successful Family Fun Day for the Sulphur Springs community.
Some of the comments heard were:
“There were two families that came at 8:00 am and the event did not start until 10:00 am. They did not mind waiting.”
“Thank you for putting this event on for us”
“I would like to volunteer to help next year”
“We really needed these back packs; thank you so much” “Will you all be doing this again next year?” “We loved it! Thank you again”
