Friendship Bridge's goal is to reach out to the senior adult community in North Tampa by offering times of fellowship, fun activities, meeting specific needs through educational seminars on health, financial, safety and other issues senior adults face on a daily basis. Loneliness is a key element in the lives of seniors and we try to combat this through serving a delicious meal at an affordable price over which they can have conversation with other senior adults. During these meals, many have made new friends and they continue outside the bi-monthly meetings.

UCM continues to help the homeless population in Northeast Tampa by reaching out to them with compassion and the love of Christ. We continue to provide food, clothing, GED classes and other opportunities that promote dignity, independence, and self-fulfillment in the lives of the homeless, the elderly, the frail, the disadvantaged, inner-city kids and persons with disabilities. One of our goals is to provide transitional housing for homeless men and women.

| PCAT Literacy Intervention & Family Enrichment (PCAT LIFE) |
PCAT’s mission is to continue to offer an after-school literacy reading intervention Program in socially and economically depressed and underserved areas of Hillsborough County. The Program will continue to service first and second grade children who have been identified by school officials as reading below a desired reading level and displays low academic achievement. Parents will also be encouraged to participate and will be given life skills training and opportunities for education advancement. My intention is to call this new Program PCAT Literacy Intervention and Family Enrichment (PCAT LIFE).
